Due to allegations of copyright infringement and cyberbullying, American musician Nicki Minaj has filed a lawsuit against Nigerian social media star Dr. Penking.
According to Naija News, the problem started on Saturday when the influencer shared an old video of the rapper on the social media site 𝕏.
He included a message in the image stating that the musician should retire from the music industry because he was already too old.
He wrote, “Nicki Minaj should understand that she has gotten old and retire.”
The rapper responded to the remark on the same platform after the post swiftly gained viral prominence.
Given that the influencer utilized a video she made years ago in an offensive manner, she questioned whether the influencer had the right to publish it.
The artist revealed that the Nigerian influencer has been named in a lawsuit she is pursuing after the interaction.
Her statement stated that part of the basis for the complaint was the unapproved use of the footage and the way it was used.
