
A member of the Borno State House of Assembly who represents the Magumeri Constituency, Hon. After a video of Audu Mustapha Ganga begging his voters to support his fifth-term campaign went viral, he faced severe criticism.
According to Naija News, Ganga, who has been in office for 16 years, started crying in the widely shared video while pleading with constituents who are demanding fresh representation.
“You know I come from a low-income background, but I was able to do many things for you,” he remarked. If given another chance, I swear to provide you with better representation.
Six candidates have already bought nomination and expression of interest papers to run for the job, according to Daily Trust.
Online responses to Ganga’s popular video, however, have been conflicting.
