I Go Save, a Nigerian comedian, has expressed worry over the speed at which internet data expires in the nation, claiming that many consumers are not receiving value for their money.
According to Naija News, he grumbled about how data subscriptions are being used up more quickly than anticipated in a video that was posted online.
He claims that plans that are meant to last a month frequently end in a very short amount of time, leaving users perplexed and irritated.
He questioned the situation’s fairness and questioned why so many people continue to have the same problem without receiving a satisfactory response from service providers.
Additionally, he noted that common Nigerians are more impacted by this issue, particularly those who have trouble affording data.
The comic claimed that if the trend continues, even wealthy individuals could find it impossible to deal with the dire circumstances.
He contrasted the Nigerian experience with that of other countries, where a monthly subscription typically lasts for the entire promised duration.
He urged President Bola Tinubu to intervene and respond to the public’s grievances.
He stated that as many Nigerians depend on internet services on a daily basis for communication and business, the attention should not simply be on food-related issues.
“They just say, ‘I have subscribed for one month, and I haven’t even reached how many hours, they think don’t finish,'” he stated. Do I download the house? Not a single word is being spoken. Nigerians are being seriously defrauded by internet companies. How do people who don’t receive take care of themselves? Given the way these internet providers operate, I’m confident that even Dangote will steal his info.
“Are you not using data, Tinubu? No fast rapid completion on your own? If they claim you have a one-month subscription overseas, that’s exactly one month. Nigeria will stay for two days. What kind of wayo is this? Do you want to kpai us? Tinubu forced Una to face this data and leave rice first. Nigerians are in pain.
