According to Nigerian activist and attorney Deji Adeyanju, the majority of Nigerians are not prepared for a continuous 24-hour electricity supply.
Adeyanju claimed that the majority of Nigerians desire dependable power at crucial periods of the day in an interview with The Honest Bunch podcast.
He emphasized that the demands made by Nigerians to their government are reasonable.
According to Adeyanju, Nigerians are the easiest people to please, thus it shouldn’t be tough to meet their expectations.
“Can Nigerians afford 24-hour light? They don’t even want it. Nigerians simply want to arrive home at 8 p.m. and meet the light so they won’t perspire while they sleep. They also want to meet the light at 7 a.m. so they can iron their clothing. After that, you can take the light and direct it to the industries. Nigerians are the simplest people to please and don’t have many demands. He asked, “How can this be too much?”
Even in a free and fair election, President Bola Tinubu is a formidable opponent, according to Adeyanju.
Adeyanju called Tinubu a powerful political manipulator in an interview with the Honest Bunch Podcast.
He claimed that Tinubu is an expert at seizing power and winning elections.
Adeyanju, a well-known opponent of Tinubu, lauded his political savvy, claiming that the President has a special ability to keep control of Nigeria’s political environment despite the strong opposition to his administration.
“Jagaban knows how to win, even in a free and fair election,” he declared.
Adeyanju said. He added that “32 governors are working for him” and that even politicians like Alex Otti are loyal to the president, demonstrating his extraordinary power to control the political sphere.
“Jagaban is above everybody,” Adeyanju continued, stressing that Tinubu is a powerful force in Nigerian politics due to his network of allies and supporters, particularly within the APC.
Adeyanju also mentioned Tinubu’s capacity for forming coalitions, claiming that the president’s political apparatus is unmatched. He acknowledged that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is the only party that might potentially pose a significant threat to the APC’s hegemony.
