Chief Priest: “Even though I lost the APC Representatives Primaries, I’m going to run again.”

After failing to win a House of Representatives ticket in the most recent All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries, Nigerian socialite Paschal Okechukwu, widely known as Chief Priest, stated he is not giving up on his political aspirations.

According to Naija News, he revealed this when discussing the comments that followed his loss on Beat FM 99.9.

He clarified that the experience has not diminished his interest in politics, despite the fact that many people made fun of him online and attempted to portray him as having made a poor political decision.

Instead, he claims that what transpired has improved his comprehension of Nigerian politics and how perseverance and preparation lead to long-term success.

He continued by saying that political advancement frequently requires time and is not accomplished in a single effort.

He compared President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s political career to his own, pointing out that before becoming president, Tinubu had to wait for the perfect moment, support other politicians, and gain power over a period of years. This kind of procedure, he claimed, demonstrates the value of timing and patience in politics.

Additionally, he stated that he is learning from that plan and clarified that a good strategy may include taking a break at specific points and coming back with improved preparation.

“President Tinubu sacrificed eight years and forced President Buhari to come before him,” he declared. What, then, am I learning from my master? endurance, patience, and the knowledge that you can take a step back, rethink your plan, and strike at the appropriate moment. Even if I didn’t succeed the first time, I’ll try again.

“In less than a week after that primary, CP has a new hit song banging out here, which is why I jumped into the studio and told them this is still CP.”
