Reality TV personality Olawunmi Adenibuyan, better known by his stage as Bambam, has responded to the phone theft incident that happened in Lagos at the song service honoring the late actor Alexx Ekubo.
According to Naija News, the actress responded to a viral video that purportedly showed a woman removing a phone from her purse.
She clarified that the woman in the video was not the cause of her phone’s absence but rather her personal assistant.
Bambam claims that it wasn’t until she left the gathering and got into her car that she realized her phone was missing.
The mother of two claimed that it was challenging for her to pinpoint the precise moment the gadget vanished because so many people came up to her during the event to say hello and snap pictures.
The information kept on the phone was the first thing that worried the former Big Brother Naija housemate.
“I noticed my phone wasn’t with me when I got into my car,” she claimed. The footage of a woman taking a phone out of my backpack is doing the rounds. My personal helper was that. It was somewhat strange that individuals wanted to snap selfies throughout the event, most likely while we were hugging and chatting or at any point since some people came and wanted to do so.
“Compassion was the first thing that struck me. The fact that many of my images and movies, along with my contacts, weren’t backed up to the cloud made me very unhappy. My next emotion was empathy. Why would anyone think that a song service is a location to rob? Furthermore, more than just my phone was taken. My pals, and I believe one of Alex’s brothers’ phones as well, followed by another man. It was depressing.
Why would anyone visit such a location and pilfer people’s phones? My friend and another man also lost theirs, so it wasn’t just mine. My PA did not steal it from me, so you folks need to quit dragging her.
