Ike Onyema, a housemate on the “Pepper Dem” series of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), has stated that he would have won the program if he had used a more sentimental approach.
According to Naija News, Ike expressed regret for not sobbing throughout the event in an interview with Kaptain Jeff TV, emphasizing that he would have done anything to win the grand prize if he had a better understanding of how the competition operated.
Ike claimed that he had thought that winning tasks by themselves would guarantee victory.
Despite winning multiple challenges, the reality TV personality revealed that his first stint on the show brought home less than ₦4 million.
“I regret not crying,” he remarked. I would have been in that house making emotional displays and crying uncontrollably if I had known what the show was about, dude. However, I believed that I would win the money if I walked in there, won every task, and continued to win.
I can’t recall the initial instance, but it shouldn’t have exceeded four million. He explained that the majority of the awards came in small amounts, such as “₦500,000 here, ₦300,000 there,” and that it should be three point something million.
When Onyema thought back on his romance in the house, he insisted that it was sincere rather than a camera gimmick and that he had no regrets about dating a fellow contestant.
“For me, it was a normal relationship,” he continued. I even believe I made an effort because, as I mentioned earlier, I’m not much into relationships. I’m concentrating on business. How am I going to make this? How am I going to do that?
“How will I come to regret it? For as long as it lasted, I liked it. Trying to win that money is the only thing I would do differently.
You see, I’d try several approaches. That money would go to me. I wouldn’t alter anything, though, except from that.
