New Real Madrid manager rumors are sparked by Mbappe’s social media activity.

Kylian Mbappe’s social media post has fueled more conjecture over Real Madrid’s manager for the upcoming campaign.

The team is expected to end the season without a trophy. With six games left in La Liga, they are nine points behind champions Barcelona and have been eliminated from both cup tournaments. Alvaro Arbeloa, the head coach, is under more pressure as his future is unknown.

At the conclusion of the season, Florentino Perez, the club president, is anticipated to examine managerial alternatives. Benfica’s current boss, former manager Jose Mourinho, has been connected to a potential comeback.

In the past, Mourinho captained Madrid from 2010 to 2013, winning the Copa del Rey, the Spanish Super Cup, and the league with a record 100 points.

After Mbappe liked a social media post that highlighted Mourinho’s prior winning percentage and his influence on Cristiano Ronaldo while he was at the club, rumors grew more intense.

Arbeloa downplayed the importance of the internet activity prior to Friday’s game against Real Betis.

“I don’t even think about these things,” he remarked. “I don’t mind if he likes Julia Roberts, Mourinho, or anybody else. It is not significant.

The mention of Roberts is reminiscent to remarks made in 2023 by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, who claimed that she was one of his three inspirations, along with Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods.

Arbeloa stated that he is still focused on outcomes.

“I see it as my duty to win every game, and I ask the players to do the same.” He said, “We must treat the insignia with professionalism and respect.

“I’m not here to inspire Real Madrid players. They already hold themselves to the greatest standards. It is my responsibility to get them ready for what they will encounter on the field.

Madrid will play three straight away games, including a trip to Barcelona on May 10, before concluding the season with two home games and one more away game.
