
Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has been honored on his 84th birthday by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Sanwo-Olu called the acclaimed clergyman who turned 84 on Monday a respected worldwide preacher in a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile.
He pointed out that many religious leaders and Christians looked up to Adeboye because of his impeccable record of serving God’s kingdom over several decades.
As the second National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, the governor also said that the well-known cleric was the pinnacle of integrity, devotion, and selfless service, and that he had raised millions of devoted followers of Jesus Christ both inside and outside of the RCCG.A genuine representative of God is Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye. He has benefited not just the Redeemed Christian Church of God but also the nation and Lagos State, according to Sanwo-Olu.
