Seun Kuti, a Nigerian Afrobeats musician, has expressed his opinions over the conflict between DJ Tunez and Burna Boy.
Kuti claimed that the majority of African men had a poisonous attitude toward power during a livestream.
He denounced those who frequently use violence and intimidation to establish their authority and power.
Hold on, let me speak. Some of you believe that if someone offends you as an African guy, you have to prove it. You can arrange for police or boys to beat you up for this one. Bro, it doesn’t make a difference. It doesn’t make a difference, therefore I’m not the young man I was before. He said, “If you still believe in all that kind of nonsense, you are a fool.”
Seun Kuti also emphasized the need for a different approach to dispute resolution, pointing out that most Africans don’t respect one another, which makes violence acceptable.
“You are a moron if you believe that you can gain power by beating someone. You’re an ode. They catch us with that because of that. That lack of regard for one another, when we believe that it is necessary to destroy, insult, and do our worst to African males. That’s what’s messing with our minds. That’s what’s messing with our minds. Do you get it? Therefore, low vibration doesn’t appeal to me. “Let me tell you what’s happening,” he continued.
