Scam of Bella Shmurda

After paying $4 million for a house in Lagos State, well-known Nigerian artist Abiola Akinbiyi, better known by his stage name Bella Shmurda, has claimed he was duped.

The musician stated that he recently learned that the structure might have been stolen and that the property did not belong to the guy who sold it to him.

According to Naija News, Bella Shmurda made the accusations on Tuesday during a tearful Instagram Live session in which he pleaded for help from Nigerians and the appropriate authorities.

The artist claimed that the development had upset him because the money involved was the result of years of hard labor.

“I need your assistance, Nigeria. Right now, I’m not doing well. He claimed, “I spent $4 million of my own hard-earned money only to discover that I purchased stolen property.”

Bella Shmurda also claimed that after being paid for the home, the person who handled the transaction was no longer reachable.

He claimed that when the transaction was finalized, the purported vendor vanished, leaving him unsure of how to get his money back.

The seller has since vanished. Help me, please. Someone intervenes. The singer declared, “I have nothing left.”

“I worked for years for this,” he continued. That’s not how I can lose $4 million.

The singer, who was clearly upset, begged for help throughout the livestream, saying he was afraid he may lose the large sum of money he had put into the home.

He did not specify how he found out that the seller purportedly lacked legal ownership of the property or when the transaction occurred.

Bella Shmurda revealed that he had spoken with his attorney to look into the transaction’s circumstances and decide on the best course of action.

He said, “I just got in touch with my lawyer to look into this further.”

The location, ownership documents, and other information about the contested Lagos property were not disclosed by the singer, nor was the identity of the purported seller disclosed.

Additionally, he did not specify whether the purported transaction was carried out directly with the seller or via real estate brokers and other middlemen.

Bella Shmurda’s claims had not been independently confirmed as of the time this report was filed.

Additionally, no official statement had been released by the police, other law enforcement organizations, or any person involved in the real estate transaction.

Additionally, the anonymous seller had not publicly addressed the accusations.
