Psquare: Peter Okoye: “I Would Cut Them Off If My Parents Were Alive And Supported The Betrayal”

The proverb “blood is thicker than water” has been debunked by well-known Nigerian artist Peter Okoye, better known by his stage name Mr. P.

Remember that the artist had previously tweeted that his new birthday is November 30 rather than November 18?

Okoye implied that he and his brothers had rekindled their conflict in a series of posts on his 𝕏 handle on Wednesday.

“His peace of mind is thicker than blood,” he said.

Mr. P denied that his wife had anything to do with the rekindled family strife, emphasizing that such stories were deceptive and detracted from what he called “deeply ingrained internal problems.”

“Don’t bring any women into this! Over the years, no woman has encouraged or instructed anyone to steal from the company I worked for. He wrote, “Stop promoting that story to fit your agenda.”

He insisted that the family’s internal conflict predates their marriages and that the disintegration started long before outside connections entered the picture.

“When this whole betrayal and theft began twenty or so years ago, none of us were even married! “I said what I said,” he continued.

Peter, who has accused anonymous people of betrayal on numerous occasions over the years, said the experience has been extremely taxing but has reinforced his resolve to put his mental health first.

“Yes, it hurts. Yes, I have lost. However, no one should continue to remind me that I was deceived and exploited by my own blood for more than 20 years,” he remarked.

The artist reiterated his position on boundaries, saying that despite pressure from his family, he would have made the same choice.

“Even if my parents were still here and encouraged this kind of betrayal, I would still decide to distance myself from them in order to keep my peace. Boundaries are essential! “My peace of mind is thicker than blood,” he said.

He also disclosed that the dispute has now turned into a lawsuit.

“We’re now blood relatives now that I’ve discovered the deception that has been going on for more than 20 years? No, that isn’t how it operates. We’re still in court! Peter penned
