Following the disappearance of her iPhone, Nigerian influencer and actress Papaya Ex has cried out on social media and offered a monetary reward for its return.
According to Naija News, she disclosed that the phone had been taken from her personal assistant during an event on her Instagram page.
She claims that the gadget is an iPhone 16 Pro Max with a pink case that holds business projects, paperwork, and significant contacts.
“Y’all they just stole my phone… please I use almighty God to beg you, if you find any iPhone 16 Pro Max pink case, I swear I’ll give you 500k,” she wrote in her post, pleading with the public.
Since “all my work projects are on that phone,” she continued, losing the phone would be excruciating.
Later, Papaya Ex provided more information about the location of the missing phone, claiming that it was lost near the front table near the stage at the Arinzo movie premiere.
“Please don’t wipe the phone… all my documents from 2015 is there… please don’t let me start from scratch,” she said, urging anyone who finds it not to mess with it.
Additionally, she offered the finder an anonymous means to return the phone by requesting that they either “message me with a fake page” or bring it to her mother’s store at Lagos 24, Ereko, Lagos Island, Idumota.
The actress raised the bounty to 700,000 naira as the hunt went on. “Selling it off won’t be a better deal, I need my contacts and documents,” she pleaded once again.
She also pleaded for assistance in spreading the word and cautioned people against purchasing any phones that displayed her photos.
