The daughter of Fuji star Wasiu Ayinde Marshall (Kwam 1), Damilola Basirat Ayinde Marshal, has refuted reports that she and Nigerian musician Asake were romantically involved.
Dami recently started dating rumors with Asake after she posted a picture of herself with the musician at an event with the caption, “Mr Money and Mrs Money.” Dami is currently the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Tourism, Arts & Culture.
The celebrity attorney, however, responded to the allegations by stating that there was no romantic relationship between the singer and herself and that the photo was taken on their first encounter.
I took a picture since, guys, I had never met Asake before. Blogs may do anything to increase traffic, so don’t trust them,” Miss Marshall remarked on her Instagram page.
Asake, who leads a somewhat private existence, has not acknowledged any personal relationships in public since he allegedly split from his girlfriend, Madame Mystique, a Gambian, in 2014.
