After becoming married to a woman, Angel Smith says, “A Man Could Never Have Made Me This Cool.”

Following her recent marriage to her female companion, Tumininu, in the United States, reality TV star Angel Smith has come out as LGBT.

The former Big Brother Naija contestant revealed on 𝕏 that she has always been honest about her sexual orientation, both before and after her involvement in the reality show, according to Naija News.

“And I have been openly queer before AND after I went for that show, please never attribute my greatness to a man, he could never have made me this cool, thangyaaaaa,” the author added.

The couple’s small wedding, which was attended by close friends and family, was captured in videos and images that went viral online.

The attendees were dressed in black, and the ceremony had a simple layout.

Tumininu showed up in a fitted black suit with a white shirt, black bow tie, and flowery lapel pin, while Angel donned a straightforward white strapless minidress with a veil and heels.

In 2025, Angel and Tumininu made their relationship public by posting pictures of their time together on social media.

They apparently had a civil ceremony earlier this year prior to the current American wedding.

In the past, Angel and fellow reality star Soma Anyama were romantically involved.

Their romance ended in early 2024, having started during the 2023 BBNaija All Stars edition.
