Von Batten-Montague-York, a political advising and lobbying firm based in the United States, has advised Nigerians not to let a smear campaign against Karl Von Batten, the firm’s owner, divert their attention.
The company said that after making its owner’s Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) court records publicly available, it anticipated that President Bola Tinubu would begin a number of campaigns against him.
Von Batten-Montague-York released a message on its verified 𝕏 handle on Tuesday, according to Naija News.
It stated, “We expect Nigerian President Bola Tinubu and his enablers to launch a new round of smear campaigns to divert the public from the truth about his alleged heroin-trafficking past, since we have given the world access to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, court records concerning him.”
They will falsely claim that Dr. Von Batten was born Ikemefuna Okeke. They will falsely claim that Dr. Von Batten stole his wife’s name. They might even claim—again, untrue—that Dr. Von Batten is Atiku Abubakar’s hidden son.
