Following a collision along the rail line on Monday morning, a passenger train headed from Kaduna to Abuja was unable to arrive at its destination.
The Abuja-bound train allegedly collided with another train on the track, causing operations to stop throughout the route, according to passengers on the Kaduna–Abuja train service.
Many passengers were left stuck during the early hours of Monday while railway officials assessed the situation.
