Okpebholo reorganizes the cabinet in an effort to improve governance

A small reorganization of the State Executive Council has been approved by Edo Governor Monday Okpebholo.

This is stated in a statement that Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Musa Ikhilor signed on Friday in Benin.

According to Ikhilor, the action was a component of continuous initiatives to improve service delivery, fortify governance, and encourage more efficiency in the management of state activities.

The following modifications have been accepted in support of this decision: Mr. Vincent Osas Uwadiae, the Commissioner for Oil and Gas Resources, has been transferred to the Ministry of Lands and Housing.

Additionally, the Governor’s Office appoints Mr. Yakubu Oshiorenua Musa, Commissioner for Lands and Housing, as Chief of Staff.

“Subject to confirmation by the Edo House of Assembly, Alhaji Gani Audu, the Governor’s Chief of Staff, is nominated to return as Commissioner for Oil and Gas Resources.”

This small cabinet reorganization takes effect right away, according to SSG.

The governor, according to Ikhilor, expressed confidence that these tactical changes would improve coordination, the execution of policies, and efficient state governance.
