Nigeria’s First Lady is recognized as a respectable woman by the US President

During yesterday’s 74th Annual National Prayer Breakfast on Capitol Hill, US President Donald Trump recognized Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, as a highly esteemed individual.

This is despite the first lady’s dismissal of international concerns about Christian persecution in the nation, claiming that they were propaganda.

During his remarks, Trump highlighted Mrs. Tinubu’s presence, calling her a revered individual and pointing out that she is a Christian pastor in Nigeria’s biggest church.

The First Lady of Nigeria, who also happens to be a Christian pastor at one of the biggest churches, is honored to be here with us today. “A highly esteemed lady,” Trump remarked. Where is the First Lady? Many thanks. Having you here is a wonderful honor.

Speaking at the International Religious Summit in Washington, DC, Mrs. Tinubu said she believes that US President Donald Trump’s emphasis on defending Christians in the nation is a divine intervention, as it has provided a chance to improve ties with the US and address terrorism and insecurity in Nigeria.

The first lady is in Washington, D.C., to attend the National Prayer Breakfast, foster relationships, and dispel myths regarding religious freedom in Nigeria, more than a month after Trump launched a Christmas-day missile strike against terrorists in the nation.

Additionally, this occurs one day after the US Congress suggested harsher measures, like as economic fines and sanctions, against nations thought to be breaching Christian freedom during a hearing.

Joined by National Security Agency Special Advisor Idayat Hassan, Tinubu stated that Trump’s intervention served as a wake-up call for the government to increase security measures to protect people and property.

Trump’s emphasis on Christian murder strikes me as divine intervention. Divine in the sense that nobody would have given Nigeria a second thought. In an interview with The Hill at the Four Seasons in Georgetown, she said, “Or to truly understand what we are grappling with and trying to build the country?”

As we discuss attacks on Christians, we must acknowledge that Nigeria is a rising economy as well.

There are instances of banditry, thievery, and kidnapping for ransom; they are all connected. Kidnappers will target Christians if they are aware that you are concentrating on them, giving them the impression that they are being persecuted.

“I didn’t want this attention, but at least I have to speak my truth, which is why I came. I’ve always believed that everything works out for the best.”

The first lady continued, “We are so grateful to God that he looked into that and that we can find ways to proceed.”
When asked if propaganda about Christian persecution had influenced Trump, she responded, “I don’t think so.” Since the United States is a Christian nation, no one in the free world will be aware that Christians have been slaughtered. You can hear this and choose not to speak up or take action.

When asked if U.S. military intervention was the best method to counter terrorism threats, Tinubu responded, “I’m not a security person.”

“Now that you’re paying attention, I think we want to establish a relationship with America based on both trade and security. Because if your investment is not safeguarded, we cannot have a positive commercial partnership.

She responded, “No, there’s nothing wrong with that,” when asked if Trump and other Americans’ worries are making things worse for Nigerian Christians. It serves as a wake-up call for us; we must intensify our efforts to ensure the safety of life.
