Meeting with Senate Leadership: President Tinubu (Video)

The Nigerian Senate’s leadership met with President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.

President Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed this in a statement on Thursday.

According to Naija News, Senate President Godswill Akpabio led the group of legislators to the gathering.

Onanuga’s remark attested to the fact that significant choices were made and vital national issues were discussed at the meeting.

On Wednesday, President Tinubu met with the Senate’s extended leadership in the Villa. The presidential spokesperson stated on 𝕏 that “this strategic meeting, which deliberated on matters of urgent national importance, resulted in far-reaching decisions.”

Tonye Cole, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for governor of Rivers State in 2023, has stated that Nigerians would not fully experience the effects of President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms for another two to three years.

Cole made this statement on Tuesday during an appearance on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm, where he addressed mounting worries about the slow pace at which macroeconomic achievements are being translated into real benefits for citizens.

When asked when regular Nigerians might start to feel better, Cole stated that if the process is allowed to proceed organically, it might take longer than anticipated.

The APC leader emphasized that although macroeconomic metrics might improve, the true test of government policies is how they affect daily lives.
