Jos Attack: Apostle Suleman: We’re Wearied, Nigerian Leaders Don’t Show Any Compassion

The recent incident in Jos has been denounced by Omega Fire Ministries Apostle Johnson Suleman.

In a statement on social media, the preacher attributed the attack to the nation’s inadequate leadership.

He charged Nigerian officials with putting their political agendas ahead of their people’s safety.

“Jos attack is another sign that leadership is failing,” he stated, emphasizing that it demonstrates “leadership that puts politics before protecting people’s lives.”

Additionally, he attacked what he called “bad priorities,” claiming that officials are more concerned with political issues than addressing insecurity.

“Future generations will determine whether this leadership now supports, permits, and repeats what it once strongly opposed, rather than wasting our shared heritage on pre-election parties and pre-kingdom preparations,” stated Suleman.

The cleric stated that while prayers are vital, they cannot replace sound judgment and leadership.

“I think prayers have great power, but they can’t replace duty on their own. We require leaders with empathy. These people today don’t exhibit any empathy. It’s really taxing, and we’re worn out,” he continued.

Additionally, Suleman offered prayers of support and compassion to the families affected by the assault.

“We support the families who lost their loved ones and pray for strength to face the unbearable pain of their loss,” he stated.
