Sheikh Usman Idris, also referred to as “Rigi-Rigi,” a well-known Islamic preacher in Zaria, passed away at the age of 57.
This was revealed to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Zaria on Monday by the cleric’s senior follower Malam Nasiruddeen Umar, also known as Baharu.
Sheikh Usman Kusfa battled a disease for several months before passing away early on Monday at a private hospital in Kaduna, according to Umar.
According to him, Sheikh Kusfa was highly renowned for his Islamic teachings and had garnered great popularity on TikTok and other social media platforms.
According to him, the cleric has four spouses, 37 children, and several grandchildren.
According to Umar, the funeral prayer for the deceased is set for Monday at 4:30 p.m. in Kusfa, Zaria City.
