If Peter Obi had been alive, he would have gone to Anini, according to Omokri

Reno Omokri, the Ambassador-Designate to Mexico, has accused former presidential contender Peter Obi of siding with individuals he had previously distanced himself from.

In a post on his š• account, Omokri questioned the consistency of Obi’s anti-corruption position, pointing out that the former governor of Anambra now hangs out with corrupt barons and looters.

ā€œLook at the quality of people Peter Obi is relating with,ā€ he wrote. alleged thieves and crooked barons.

ā€œAnd this is the same Peter Obi who declared he would not participate in any ā€œstructures of criminalityā€?

Obi’s rhetoric from the previous general elections, especially his appeal to religious groups, was also mentioned by Omokri.

ā€œChurch, wake up and take back your country,ā€ Peter Obi yelled as he leaped from church to church in the lead-up to the most recent election.

He remarked, ā€œLook at the caliber of people Peter Obi wants to bring back to Nigeria.ā€

The former presidential assistant continued by bringing up Nigeria’s former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, and making accusations regarding assets associated with him.

ā€œMalami Abubakar! A guy from whom a court ordered the seizure of 57 opulent residences, hotels, and other valuable assets valued at ₦212 billion as profits of corruption?

ā€œA man who reportedly obtained properties valued at ₦212 billion through corruption in a nation where more than two million internally displaced people were homeless, starving, and forlorn at the time he allegedly obtained them illegally?

He went on, ā€œAre these the kinds of people Peter Obi wants to save Nigeria with?ā€

Additionally, he offered an alternative interpretation of Obi’s campaign slogan, which was aimed at religious establishments.

Peter Obi’s statement, ā€œChurch, wake up and take back your country,ā€ is now understood by Nigerians.

He seeks to return Nigeria to the era of General Sani Abacha, his former employer, when looting was a recognized state policy.

Remember that Peter Obi was employed by Abacha,ā€ he said.

Omokri compared himself to a well-known gangster.

Perhaps Peter Obi would have given the infamous armed robber Anini a visit of support if he were still alive today.

ā€œObi learned a lot under his beloved boss, Abacha!ā€ he said in closing.
