Fani-Kayode will continue serving as Nigeria’s envoy to Lesotho, Eswatini, and South Africa.

Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation, has officially been appointed as Nigeria’s high commissioner to South Africa, Lesotho, and Eswatini.

According to Naija News, Fani-Kayode revealed this in a statement on Tuesday, stating that the development came after the required agrüge was granted.

He said that Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, delivered the letters to him on behalf of President Bola Tinubu.

The former minister declared that he will start the process of going to Pretoria, where he is anticipated to give South African President Cyril Ramaphosa his letter of credence.

He declared, “I will start the process of reporting to Pretoria, present my letter of credence to His Excellency President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa, and begin the great and important work that lies ahead.”

The position is another chance to serve Nigeria, according to Fani-Kayode, who was Minister of Aviation almost 20 years ago.

“I am grateful to our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his faith in me, and I hope that all good-hearted men and women will pray for me,” he continued.

“The Lord alone will be given credit for this, and He will accomplish great things.” He is devoted!
