Council elections: NRC modifies train timetable between Abuja and Kaduna

An alteration to the outbound train service timetable from Abuja to Kaduna on Saturday has been announced by the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC).

In a statement released on Thursday, NRC Chief Public Relations Officer Mr. Callistus Unyimadu explained that the change was brought about by the elections for the Federal Capital Territory Council.

This is to notify the public and our valued passengers that the outgoing train will now depart at 7.30 a.m. As planned, the inbound service from Kaduna to Abuja would leave at 2:30 p.m., he stated.

He suggested that travelers get to the station prior to the imposition of the movement restriction order.

“The company apologizes for any inconvenience this change may have caused,” he stated.
