The former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, his son Abdulaziz Malami, and his wife Asabe Bashir have all been granted N200 million in bail, together with two sureties, by Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
One of the sureties included in the bail requirements is the deposit of property title deeds in either Maitama or Asokoro.
The court has mandated that the defendants turn in their foreign passports.
Until their bail conditions are met, they will continue to be held by the Nigerian correctional service.
