The Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Miller Dantawaye, has made courtesy visits to important traditional leaders in Abuja ahead of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council elections, which are set for February 2026, in order to reaffirm that elections should not be viewed as a do-or-die situation.

The Police Commissioner visited His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Usman Nga Kupi, the traditional head (Sa’peyi) of Garki District, and His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Haruna Tanko Jibrin, the traditional head (Gomo) of Kuje.
