The seasoned performer Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, better known by his stage names Area Fada and Charly Boy, has stated that he is not gay.
According to Naija News, the musician revealed in an interview with KAATRUTH that he lives freely and stays loyal to himself without worrying about public opinion.

He emphasized that he would come out as gay if he were, adding that he doesn’t keep anything about his life a secret.
“I would be shouting it at the rooftop if I were gay,” he remarked. I don’t keep myself hidden. I give my soul. Sitting in the market square is something I enjoy. By that, I mean that I’m completely transparent. Since I’ve been living my true life for a very long time and liars are for people who lack the confidence to do so, I can’t lie about anything. Therefore, I don’t send anyone.
