Folarin Falana, better known by his stage name Falz, is a Nigerian singer who responded to a fan who urged him to get married.
According to Naija News, Falz retweeted the fan’s remark on his Instagram story on Sunday.
Falz clarified that the suggestion did not offend him.
He admitted that, as an artist, elements of his personal life frequently become part of his audience’s enjoyment and noted that marriage is highly valued in Nigeria.
The activist also made a lighthearted comment about trying marriage to see how it might work.
“It’s not your fault; I am the one who chose to be an entertainer, so my life is your amusement,” he declared. Let’s try if I can do a brief marriage experiment. Thank you for the suggestion.
Falz said in 2025 that he might decide not to make his marriage public.
His statement came after a series of images that were misinterpreted as a conventional marriage introduction caused some misunderstanding.
The pictures, which caused a lot of conjecture, were eventually shown to be from a marriage-themed photo shoot rather than a real wedding.
Both acclaim and criticism were received for the first posts; some fans accused Falz of deceiving the public.
In response, he noted that he could prefer to keep such milestones secret and that generalizations about his personal life are frequently premature.
Even if he decides to be married, he noted, there is no assurance that it will be announced to the world.
