According to Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, better known by his stage name Blaqbonez, Wizkid and Davido are unstoppable.
Naija News reports that Blaqbonez, in an interview with YouTuber Korty EO, asserted that the rivalry between fans is one of the reasons Wizkid and Davido have remained relevant in the music industry for about two decades.
Wizkid and Davido would become irrelevant without rivalry, the musician said, adding that while musicians can adore one another, fan rivalry shouldn’t be discouraged.
The rapper claimed to be competitive and to embrace rivalry.
“Davido and Wizkid can never fade,” he declared. They will always be relevant because of that hatred. It ends when they fall in love. Love is reserved for kids. Fans should never love one another, but artists can love one another.
In the meantime, Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck recently criticized his coworker Blaqbonez for sending reputable industry heavyweights to mediate their dispute rather than personally asking for forgiveness.
In a recent podcast interview with Pulse, Odumodublvck stated that if Blaqbonez personally apologizes to him, he is willing to put an end to their feud and make amends.
The “Wotowoto” crooner claims that he is not ruling out a reconciliation with Blaqbonez, emphasizing that he can pardon wrongdoings against Blaqbonez because of his Christian upbringing.
Odumodublvck maintained that the conflict, which started in 2025, was more than just a rap feud and accused Blaqbonez of attempting to minimize it by recording diss tracks directed at him.
