
Before entering the entertainment industry, Nollywood actress Beverly Osu revealed that she had intended to become a Reverend Sister in a convent.
According to Naija News, she discussed this during an appearance on the Creativtea Podcast, explaining that her early life choices were greatly influenced by her strict Catholic upbringing.
She claimed to have grown up in Lagos and to have moved across the city’s neighborhoods, including Surulere, Yaba, and Ojuelegba.
Beverly added that she became serious about joining a religious order while attending Daughters of Divine Love Juniorate in Enugu.
The reality TV personality clarified that she genuinely envisaged herself going down that route at the moment.
She continued by saying that the discipline and tidy appearance of priests and Reverend Sisters were what drew her to the thought of a religious life.
She claimed that the way of life appealed to her since she loved neatness and appreciated how tidy and well-organized they appeared.
“I was meant to be a Reverend Sister,” she declared. My dream was to become a Reverend Sister. I am now carrying out God’s work in other ways.
“I adore their attire. I simply like how tidy and meticulous the priests and Reverend Sisters were. That was it, literally.
