Etinosa Idemudia, a Nollywood actress, responded to remarks made on social media by those who questioned the size of her neck.
According to Naija News, the actress addressed the matter in a video after some online users speculated that she might be coping with a medical ailment.
She clarified that her neck’s appearance is due to her body type and passion for food, not a medical issue.
The actress added that the trait is inherited and unrelated to any conditions like goiter or thyroid problems.
Etinosa voiced her concern at what she called the ongoing examination of celebrities for indications of illness.
She claimed that rather than paying attention to famous individuals’ general appearance and wellbeing, some people seem eager to infer or wish them poor health.
Idemudia emphasized that she is in good health and that people should stop projecting their own anxieties onto her. She also stated that she will not tolerate unfavorable assumptions about her physical appearance.
“I just want to let you people know that, as you can see, my neck is fat,” she stated. I genuinely enjoy eating a lot. It’s not thyroid, and I’m not a goiter. Don’t blame me for your illness in the future. I’m not ill.
