According to Nigerian artist Innocent Idibia, better known by his stage name 2Baba, the country has improved in recent years.
He made the comments during an interview on Wazobia TV, according to Naija News, when the host noted that one of his earlier songs, “E Be Like Say,” appeared to mirror themes that are still present in today’s political landscape.
2Baba clarified that Nigeria has advanced over time in spite of the ongoing difficulties.
The seasoned singer responded that he has previously backed a campaign in a position that required him to remain impartial when questioned about his political engagement.
He intends to keep making his own contributions to the nation, though.
He talked about his own attempts to favorably promote Nigeria, stating that he sees himself as the country’s ambassador abroad.
“We are better off than many years ago,” he declared. Take a peek at it. I’ll keep doing it even though it’s still ongoing. I’ll establish my own stance and work to change things. I know where I stand, so I’ll attempt to make it work. I have personally designated myself as Nigeria’s ambassador to every country.
