Paul Okoye, a Nigerian artist better known by his stage as Rudeboy, has talked about how he came to the conclusion that his wife, Ivy Ifeoma, was the ideal companion.
According to Naija News, he recently discussed his love journey, previous heartbreaks, and what drew him to Ivy in an interview with Clout Africa.
Marriage is fun, according to Rudeboy, but it should never be viewed as a do-or-die scenario. Reflecting on lessons learned from his former marriage to Anita Okoye, with whom he had three children, he said, “Marriage is fun, but not a do-or-die affair, and separation is allowed.”
He attempted to date three additional women after that marriage ended, but none of them fulfilled his expectations.
He claimed to be looking for a peaceful companion. Ivy “was just her real self,” he said, adding, “I was looking for someone with whom I could be at peace and Ivy was that person.”
Rudeboy described an instance in which he recognized Ivy’s uniqueness. He offered to take her shopping early in their relationship, but she only selected two outfits.
She clarified that many more things might have been purchased in Tejuosho Market with the same amount of money. The singer recounted, “She picked only two clothes and told him how the money would have bought her many clothes in Tejuosho market.” “She was real,” he said simply.
The singer also talked about his songs and how his previous relationships affected them. “My relationship experiences have influenced some of my songs, such as Reason With Me, which was inspired by an ex,” he stated.
Rudeboy discussed a prior case involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). By the way, the EFCC has cleared me. We’ll release the message when it’s appropriate,” he said.
Ivy Zenny and Rudeboy are now wed, and they have a daughter together.
