Eucharia Anunobi, a seasoned Nollywood actress, recently chastised a media personality on the podcast “The Honest Bunch” for the way she was presented.
According to Naija News, the host referred to the movie actor as “Ukeriya Anunobi Eku” on the show clip that has gone viral online.
The talented actress, however, quickly corrected the pronunciation and explained that her credentials had been taken out of the introduction.
Anunobi clarified that she prefers to be referred to by her full title and that her proper name is Eucharia Anunobi.
She requested that the host refer to her as “Apostle Dr. Eucharia Anunobi,” emphasizing that her academic and spiritual titles were earned through hard effort rather than being honorifics.
“You introduce me properly if you want to,” she said. I am still Dr. Eucharia Anunobi, the Apostle. There is no honorarium for my doctorate. It’s scholarly. I had a job. I had worked hard. I’m educated. And I really do mean schooled when I say that. I’m an acting machine in motion.
Eucharia Anunobi, meantime, has expressed concerns about her safety, claiming that both her life and ministry are in grave danger.
In a video posted on Instagram on Sunday, Anunobi warned that Apostle Psalm Okpe, the founder of Fresh Oil Ministry in Egbeda, Lagos, and his family should be held accountable for any harm done to her, her family, or her property in Nigeria or outside.
In order to demonstrate that she hasn’t engaged in sexual activity for nearly 14 years since being ordained into ministry, she added that she is prepared to submit to a medical checkup.
Anunobi stated in the video that she chose to speak after seeing different rumors about herself circulating online.
She stated that she is unwavering in her commitment to her calling and will not permit any attempt to undermine or divert her efforts.
