After Liam Rosenior was fired, former Arsenal footballer Emmanuel Petit has advised Cesc Fabregas to avoid the coaching position at Chelsea FC.
Following yet another period of turmoil at Stamford Bridge, rumors have connected the Como manager to the position. As he advances Como 1907 into Champions League spots, Fabregas has been hailed as one of Europe’s most promising young coaches.
In an interview with Andy’s Bet Club, Petit described Chelsea as unstable for a rookie manager and advised the Spaniard to concentrate on a potential transfer to FC Barcelona.
“Cesc Fabregas to Chelsea? No, no, no. If you had to pick between Chelsea and Barcelona, you would absolutely select Barcelona over Chelsea. Chelsea is a complete mess. “It’s a mess,” Petit said to Andy’s Bet Club.
It’s a nightmare for managers; in fact, it’s kind of a nightmare for the players as well. Even though you are under a lot of pressure in Barcelona, you will discover more peace.
Club great John Terry, meanwhile, worries that the West London team would have to sell important players this summer and might not be able to compete in Europe the following season.
Following Rosenior’s resignation, the former England defender questioned if top coaches would be interested in the position in a TikTok video.
“Given our current situation, would a true top manager join Chelsea FC? It appears that we will have to sell some of our finest players, which is always difficult, because we are unable to purchase players,” Terry said.
