Haaland apologizes for Man City’s embarrassing loss to Bodo/Glimt in the UCL.

Erling Haaland, a striker for Manchester City, apologized to the team’s supporters following Tuesday night’s 3-1 Champions League loss to Bodo/Glimt.

Haaland had a challenging comeback to Norway and missed multiple scoring opportunities.

Thanks to two goals from Kasper Hogh, Bodo/Glimt had a 2-0 lead at the break.

Before the hour mark, Jens Petter Hauge gave them a third goal, but Ryan Cherki countered with a deflected strike.

Currently ranked seventh in the league phase, City may fall short of the top eight.

“I don’t have the answers,” Haaland said to TNT Sports.

“I accept full responsibility for my failure to score the goals I should have.

“I apologize to all of the fans and Man City supporters who attended today’s game. It was embarrassing in the end.
