By Enitan Abdultawab Raheem Sterling’s exit from Chelsea is anticipated to be finalized in the next few days, and the striker is prepared to finalize a move once a deal is made.
The club and Sterling’s representatives are currently holding talks in an effort to find a solution before Monday.
All parties are eager for a quick resolution, and Chelsea has signaled that they are willing to let the England international depart.
Discussions are going as planned, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano. Romano stated that Sterling is prepared to take action while talks are ongoing in a post on X on Tuesday.
“Raheem Sterling is prepared to move quickly and is anticipated to depart Chelsea in the coming days. Chelsea is willing to let Sterling go, so they are working with his camp to find a solution before Monday. The parties are in talks,” Romano wrote.
Since joining Chelsea from Manchester City in 2022, Sterling has contributed to the team’s offensive lineup. But with little opportunities, his future at Stamford Bridge has remained questionable.
As he looks for consistent playing time, the winger has been connected to a number of possible locations. According to reports, Sterling has not played in a single game this season and was compelled to train independently after failing to negotiate a transfer away from Chelsea before the August 2025 deadline.
