EFCC Warns About False Claims Regarding Sabinus: “Stop This Now”

Due to a widely shared poster, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has issued a strong warning that Nigerian skitmaker Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, also known as Sabinus, is wanted by the organization.

According to Naija News, the widely shared tweet with the EFCC emblem claimed that 43-year-old Sabinus was wanted for gaining money through deception.

Additionally, 13/14 Ligali Ayomide Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State, was mentioned as the alleged last known residence.

Nevertheless, the EFCC stamped the spreading poster “FAKE NEWS” in a post using its official 𝕏 handle.

“Clout chaser, stop this now!” the post said.

In the meantime, the EFCC has revealed why it was unable to detain the CEO of Blessing, a contentious relationship specialist, due to her fundraising and cancer claims.

Remember that last month, the media personality claimed to have received a stage four breast cancer diagnosis and asked Nigerians for financial assistance?

Blessing, however, later emphasized in interviews that she did not have stage four cancer, blaming previous allegations on miscommunication.

She stated that she had not yet begun chemotherapy and was still awaiting additional medical testing. Additionally, she maintained that the public had given her ₦13 million rather than the widely reported ₦100 million.

Social media users have been outraged by the situation and have called on the anti-graft bureau to prosecute the relationship expert.

However, an EFCC source told The Cable that the commission has not yet received a formal petition against Blessing CEO. According to the anti-graft office, a valid complainant must start an investigation and, if required, file a lawsuit.
