Before the Sporting quarterfinal, Declan Rice and Gabriel Magalhaes boost Arsenal.

Declan Rice and Gabriel Magalhaes have both returned to training, giving Arsenal a much-needed boost in fitness ahead of Tuesday night’s Champions League quarterfinal first leg against Sporting CP.

According to Naija News, Rice, 27, missed Saturday’s FA Cup quarterfinal loss to Southampton after withdrawing from the England national squad during the March international break following a medical evaluation.

Due to a knee injury sustained during the defeat on the south coast, Gabriel was also unable to participate.

As Mikel Arteta’s team got ready to go to Lisbon for the first leg, both players practiced with the first team in London Colney on Monday.

Leandro Trossard’s arrival at the practice gave the Gunners even more hope, but Bukayo Saka was not present because he left England assignment early.

After consecutive cup losses, Arsenal enters the match hoping to stop a decline.

After losing to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final, they were eliminated from the FA Cup.

The North London team is still very much on track domestically despite the cup setbacks.

They will play AFC Bournemouth on Saturday to continue their title challenge. They currently lead the Premier League by nine points.

Goalie David Raya and manager Mikel Arteta will speak to the media in Portugal later on Monday.
