Casemiro, a midfielder from Brazil, has announced that he would not be extending his contract with Manchester United, ending his time at Old Trafford at the end of the current campaign.
In a Tuesday interview with ESPN Brasil, the former Real Madrid player made it clear that he want to move on.
“I don’t believe that. It’s obvious that I will decide at the conclusion of the season. He declared, “There are no chances.”
The midfield player expressed gratitude to the team and fans for their support throughout his four years at Old Trafford as he thought back on his time there.
“I’m eternally grateful, not just to the club, but to the fans, for those four beautiful, wonderful years,” he remarked. “The fans’ love for me is what I will cherish most from these four years.”
Casemiro went on to say that he wants to leave at a solid moment in his career and on good terms.
“I want to go out the front door.” At Manchester United, the cycle is over. “My career is about to enter a new phase,” he declared.
The Brazilian reaffirmed his enduring relationship with supporters in England, despite the fact that his next destination is still up in the air.
“Here in England, I will always be a Manchester United supporter. “I can only express my gratitude to everyone for their love,” he remarked.
