Appeal Court Decision: PDP BoT Requests Abuja Meeting

A Board of Trustees (BoT) meeting has been set for Wednesday, March 11, 2026, according to a group of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that supports Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike.

The BoT Chairman, Mao Ohuabunwa, signed the notice of the meeting, which specified that it will take place by 2:00 pm.

He cautioned that only duly notified board members will be permitted to attend, and non-members are urged to avoid the meeting location.

According to Ohuabunwa, the BoT is calling the meeting, and the party’s interim leadership has approved it.

This is to formally invite every member of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Board of Trustees to a meeting that is set for Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The address is 1, Sabo Ago Street, LifeCamp, Abuja.

“Take note that this is the only BoT recognized as established by the Abdulrahman/Anyanwu-led National Caretaker Working Committee in accordance with the Federal High Court ruling and approved by the Court of Appeal in Abuja,” he stated.

Additionally, he advised members not to reply to any additional invitations.

The notice stated, “Please disregard any other notice purporting to call a meeting of the BoT.”

The conference is scheduled just days after the Appeal Court declared the party’s National Convention, which took place in Ibadan on November 15 and 16, 2025, to be invalid, according to Naija News.

The suspension of four Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) national officers, including Samuel Anyanwu, the party’s former national secretary, was also maintained by the appellate court.
