The administration of Governor Siminalayi Fubara, according to former Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communications Austin Tam-George, is their best opportunity to avoid the self-gratification of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike.
Tam-George made this claim on Thursday during an interview on ARISE Television’s “Prime Time” show, according to Naija News.
According to Tam-George, the public has opposed to Wike’s strong self-aggrandizement.
He also criticized Wike’s administration as Governor of Rivers State, emphasizing that throughout his eight years in office, no civil servant received a promotion.
“Administration is our best chance to escape Wike’s self-aggrandizement,” he declared.
As you are undoubtedly aware, the topic of potential godfathers is not exclusive to Rivers State. However, our godfather has elevated prebendal politics to an entirely new level.
“The people are forced to say, ‘No, this cannot be allowed,’ since our former governor has carried personal aggrandizement to such an extreme.
“Those of us who support Fubara’s administration do so because it is our best opportunity to break free from Wike’s prebendal, self-aggrandizing policies.
During Wike’s eight years in office, no civil official in Rivers State received a promotion.
“Governor Fubara was quite wise enough to gravitate toward meeting the needs of the people,” as I previously stated.
