Onanuga: The NDC Is Not The APC’s Agent

Bayo Onanuga, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Information and Strategy, has denied claims that the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) is attempting to help the All Progressives Congress (APC) win the 2027 election.

In response to a report made by former Kogi Senator Dino Melaye regarding Peter Obi’s departure from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the NDC, Onanuga made the denial in a statement on Wednesday via his 𝕏 account.

According to Naija News, Melaye attacked Obi, implying that the former governor of Anambra State would rather be given the ticket than run in a primary.

In closing, he stated that the NDC is an APC agency.

Peter Obi excused himself from a difficult circumstance. How does he plan to manage Nigeria if he is unable to deal with party problems and crises? Due to Nigeria’s wahala pass ADC issues. He can only work in a kitchen with air conditioning. He’s not a fan of hot kitchens. He received free governorship tickets from APGA, free vice presidential tickets from Atiku, and free presidential tickets from Labour despite never having attended a primary. He quit the PDP and ADC for another free ticket in the NDC since he was unable to participate in the primary election. Melaye wrote, “NDC is an APC agency.

Onanuga, however, quickly condemned any connection between the APC and the NDC.

He advised Melaye to resolve his differences with Obi without consulting the APC.

“Haba Dino, please don’t involve our APC party in your conflict with your nomadic associate. He has, as usual, moved on in search of a ticket that will be given to him! The presidential media assistant wrote, “The NDC is not an agent of the APC.”
