Kiekie explains why she lived with her husband prior to getting married.

Oluwabukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, a Nollywood actress and skit creator better known by her stage as KieKie, has revealed why she lived with her spouse prior to being married.

In an interview with Toke Makinwa, she clarified that they had already finished their customary ceremonies and were getting ready for the white wedding when they moved in together.

She said that instead of renewing her lease, she chose to move in with her husband because her rent had already expired.

My spouse and I shared a home for roughly four months prior to our marriage. I asked myself, “Why pay another rent?” since my rent had expired and we were getting married in January. I wasn’t going to waste money, even though people might think otherwise. Our introduction had already been completed. I used to sing in church at that time, and the church was unaware of it,” she said.

Kiekie, meantime, has declared that she has established boundaries between her personal and work lives.

Speaking at The Creative Blueprint 2.0, Kiekie clarified that she doesn’t include her spouse, Tunji Ilori, in her writing because “he is not funny.”

Because “she is made for the camera,” the actress continued, she posts pictures of her daughter Nola on social media.

She emphasized that she only produces content with her daughter during academic breaks, but she did clarify that there is a limit to how she includes her daughter in her work.

She emphasized how important it is for celebrities and content producers to establish boundaries between their personal and professional life.

“I have drawn a very clear distinction between what is personal to my brand as Kiekie and what is personal to me as Oluwabukunmi Adeaga Ilori. What components make up my brand? Actor, content producer, and host of events and television. What content do I have? “Comic,” she remarked.

Kiekie was a major proponent of content creators exercising self-control, particularly when it came to including family members in their social media posts.

“We overindulge in viral moments to the point of annoyance. And that’s when oversharing enters the picture,” she continued.
