Ayra Starr Discusses Religion and Faith: “I Found What Works For Me”

Ayra Starr, an Afrobeats musician, has shared details about her personal relationship with God, religion, and spirituality.

According to Naija News, the Sabi Girl crooner had a live conversation with social media star Jarvis.

She discussed her spiritual life throughout the webcast and clarified that going to church is not the only way she connects with God.

She claimed that she does not only practice her faith at religious events but also in her everyday life.

Even though she feels she is not quite where she wants to be spiritually, Ayra Starr continued, “I am still on a journey of growth and try my best to live in a way that reflects Christ-like values.”

She added that she has a personal relationship with God and the Holy Spirit that is independent of formal religious contexts.

She claims that she has developed a method of practicing her faith that she finds meaningful and organic.

“I can only strive to be as perfect as Jesus is,” she declared. Although I’m not there yet, I’m making an effort. My personal relationship with God and the Holy Spirit is a result of more than just attending church.

“Everything associated with religion is rather restrictive, you know. According to your faith, God says, let it be unto you. I’ve discovered a method that suits me. I’ve discovered a method that works for me, and for the time being, I’m content with it.
