
Uriel Oputa, a Nigerian reality TV star, has responded to remarks made online that make fun of her for not being married or having kids.
According to Naija News, the criticism started when a social media user made fun of her for staying unmarried, suggesting that her previous relationship selectivity was finally catching up with her.
Uriel said that having a husband or being married does not define her.
She clarified that rushing into a marriage would jeopardize her safety and tranquility and that she would not allow social pressure to control her personal decisions.
The singer stressed that her priorities are her life, accomplishments, and personal development.
Additionally, Uriel addressed other women directly, urging them not to let their married status hold them back in life.
