“We don’t communicate outside of work,” Daniel Effiong and Bolaji Ogunmola are not romantically involved.

Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola has categorically denied reports that she and co-star Daniel Etim-Effiong are in a personal relationship, stating that their on-screen chemistry in her latest movie is entirely professional.

Ogunmola’s most recent YouTube film, In The Bloom After, was uploaded on February 6. In it, she plays Inara, a lady who, after 20 years of marriage, is dumped by her unfaithful husband and sets out on a quest for dating and self-discovery. One of the men she interacts with is Nachi, played by Etim-Effiong, which leads to a number of personal sequences, including kisses, that have raised questions among some viewers.

“To be honest, you and Daniel kissing movies is too much and it looks like you guys are an item,” wrote an X user in response to the kisses. Why didn’t you kiss Anthony, the first guy in your new film? Recall that Yul and Judy got their start that way. Emotions can arise. You all ought to turn it off.

In a scathing response, Ogunmola rejected any hints of off-screen romance while upholding the movie’s central message of self-love and strength.

“You are a complete moron! It’s evident that you watched to tweet foolishness. Is the whole movie about you, nitwit? You want to minimize all of my labor to a kiss. You are all complete idiots for thinking that way. We don’t even talk outside of work, what a stupid thing!” she wrote.

The actress made it clear that she and Etim-Effiong “don’t even talk outside of work” and that their connection is completely business.

She also disclosed that she might completely stop using social media and hire a social media manager to take care of it.

“I’ll just quit using these apps and get a social media manager,” she wrote. so that I can concentrate on the work, which is what truly counts! All of these thoughts and remarks. In addition, we are human.

In The Bloom After has received more than 1.5 million views since it was released. Together, Ogunmola and Effiong have acted in a sizable number of films.

Etim Effiong is wed to Toyosi Etim-Effiong, a personal branding specialist.
