Premier League Matchday 28 Schedule, Kickoff Time, and Wright and Scholes’ Predictions for Arsenal vs. Chelsea

Ahead of the London derby at the Emirates on Sunday, Ian Wright and Paul Scholes have made wildly divergent predictions about the Premier League match between Arsenal and Chelsea.

The former Manchester United midfielder is leaning toward an outcome that would annoy the home supporters, while the former Arsenal striker is bursting with confidence about his old club’s chances.

When Manchester City visits Leeds United 24 hours prior, Mikel Arteta’s team is aware that the title battle could take another turn. At this point in the campaign, every point feels valuable because there isn’t much room for error.

Supporters will be encouraged by Arsenal’s recent home record against Chelsea, and there is a growing belief that the Gunners have the resilience needed for a run-in this intense. But derbies don’t always go as planned.

Speaking on The Overlap, Scholes hinted that he anticipates a close, cagey match and wouldn’t be shocked if Chelsea emerged victorious.

“I’m partial to Chelsea. It might be 0-0, in my opinion. Scholes predicted either a draw or a Chelsea victory.

Wright had a very different perspective on Arsenal and was never one to sit on the fence.

“I’ll go 3-1. “We will kill them,” he declared.

The match completes the busy Premier League schedule for matchday 28. Manchester United hosts Crystal Palace, Liverpool hosts West Ham, while Manchester City’s trip to Leeds United may have significant summit ramifications.
