Keane claims that “Carrick is not the right man for Man United.”

After the team’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Arsenal, former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane has lauded the team’s improving performances but is adamant that Michael Carrick shouldn’t be named the team’s permanent manager.

Keane acknowledged United’s recent improvement in form but downplayed its importance in an interview with Sky Sports following Sunday’s game at the Emirates Stadium.

“Anyone can win two games, but two outstanding performances,” Keane remarked.

“I wouldn’t hire him even if United won every game till the end of the season. He’s not the man for it, in my opinion.

According to Keane, United needs a more seasoned and successful manager who can win league championships.

advertisements that state, “They need a bigger and better manager.” Given the magnitude of the team and the difficulties they will encounter in the next years, you want a manager who you believe can help them win league titles.

Will we sit here and think Michael Carrick can lead United to league championships? For me, it’s insufficient. I don’t think he’s the right person to help them win league titles.

Keane complimented United’s performance against Arsenal despite his misgivings, emphasizing the team’s poise and the influence of their substitutes.

“They had a bit of swagger and calmness to their play, considering where they are and where they have been,” he remarked.

“Players off the bench and two outstanding strikes made a significant impact. It’s similar to the past when you see the United supporters in the corner.

“It’s only been ten days, so it was never going to be perfect,” he remarked. We didn’t anticipate coming here and taking control of the ball and the entire game. Really, we’re just getting started. It’s a fantastic place to start, but in the upcoming weeks, we’ll aim to add more levels.

Carrick commended the players and coaching staff for their dedication, noting that the team’s overall performance and the influence of the bench were positive indicators.

It’s a genuine sense of community. When everyone is involved and we can celebrate with the fans at the conclusion, it’s fantastic. That is significant and a momentous occasion.
